The Riverside Business Centre offers 5 venues for conferences, business meetings and functions.

Additional conference facilities are available at The Riverside Conference Centre on the hotel premises.

The Riverside Hotel has a 500kVA Generator which ensures an uninterrupted power supply to our Business Centre and the entire hotel complex.

Each of our venues offer natural light with blackout curtaining and scenic views of the Umgeni River and beyond.

    We hosted my dad's 60th birthday at the business centre. Mlungisi, Mayuri and their team were hands on from the go. The food was delicious and on point, everything was beyond expectations.
    The staff are extremely friendly, accommodating and hands on. They always willing to assist in any way to make your stay comfortable and it seemed as if we knew them forever. She provided us with yummy meals to cater for our needs at the kitchen and not forgetting Thulani who checked us in and made sure we were comfortable. The rooms are very neat and tidy as well as spacious. You guys know the meaning of excellent customer service! We were so impressed with the service that we had to book in again at checkout for our Valentine's / Anniversary weekend and once again all great comments and recommendations! The Saturday prawn special was a winner! Well done to the team on your outstanding work and service. Riverside feels like home!

    Riverside has hosted 2 events, 1 being a business working day and 1 a personal dinner dance. Both were so successful thanks to you and your team’s flexibility and team work.

    The business day was successful, covid protocols and desk partitioning for our safety was appreciated, last minute urgent requirements were dealt with quickly and lunch was amazing.

    The dinner/dance was just awesome and the kids had such an amazing night. The night staff were so great. The kids will remember that night for many years.

    I would like to say thank you to you and the rest of the team for 2 great events, but with you as my main contact person definitely played the biggest part. You did a great job co-ordinating everything and making sure we had access when required etc.

    Thanks again and I look forward to using Riverside to host my business and personal events again.

    The exquisite Riverside Hotel’s conference room In Durban was the venue for the VSA’s Champions Cup Technical Meeting, which inter alia, focused on drawing up the fixtures for the NF’s prestigious annual Inter Club Championship for women and men. The ambience of the venue set the stage for a ‘problem free’ engagement with the participating teams’ officials.
