AIR CONDITIONING
For your convenience all rooms are fully air-conditioned with individual thermostat controls.

AIRPORT TRANSPORT
This service is available at a surcharge. To book, change or confirm airport transport, please contact Reception.

ANIMALS
Guide dogs are permitted on the Hotel premises; we regret no other animals will be allowed.

BABY COTS
Baby cots may be arranged prior to arrival with Reservations or Reception.

CONCIERGE
Our Guest Relations Manager or Reception are at your disposal for any information regarding car rental, flights, taxi or sightseeing information.

BEACH
Durban Beachfront is 4km away from the Hotel and as an alternative Umhlanga Beaches are approximately 15km away.

BLANKET
An extra blanket is provided in the wardrobe for your convenience.

CAR RENTAL
Reception will gladly assist you to make, change or confirm a Reservation.

CULTURAL INFORMATION
There are many cultural highlights in and around the area. For further details please contact Reception.

DO NOT DISTURB
If you do not wish to be disturbed, please indicate this by hanging the “Please let me relax” sign outside your door. Please note that if this sign is displayed on your door, your room will not be serviced until the sign has been removed. Please inform Reception should you not wish to receive telephone calls.

FIRST AID
A First Aid Kit is available at Reception for minor ailments and injuries. Should you require the services of a chemist, doctor or dentist, please contact reception.

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY
The electrical supply in our rooms is 240V.For your convenience an International multi-plug is installed at the writing desk.

EMERGENCY/FIRE PROCEDURES
You are strongly advised to take note of the emergency instructions and evacuation procedures located behind your bedroom door. Should you discover a fire, please contact Reception, vacate your room immediately and proceed directly the assembly point.

GUEST CARD
Please remember to keep your Guest Card safe and with you all times. Please remember that you may be asked to show your guest card when charging items to your room. Please note that there will be a charge should you lose your key card.

GUEST SUPPLIES
Additional Guest Supplies and toiletries e.g. razor, toothbrush etc. are available at Reception at an additional cost.

HAIRDRYER
A hairdryer is provided in the drawer under the desk in your room for your convenience.

HOUSEKEEPING
Guest rooms are cleaned daily. To request service at a specific time, please contact Reception.

INCOMING CALLS
Should you be expecting a call while you are out of your room, please advise reception of your planned whereabouts so that there will be a minimal delay in contacting you.

LOST & FOUND
All lost and found items are kept with Housekeeping. Please contact Reception if you have any enquiries in this regard. Articles not claimed after 3 months will be disposed of.

COMPLIMENTARY INTERNET
High speed wireless internet is available throughout the Hotel. Please contact our reception desk for the log-in details.

IRONING
Please contact Housekeeping or Reception should you require an iron & ironing board.

LAUNDRY/VALET/DRY CLEANING
Laundry bags and lists are provided in your room. We offer an in-house laundry service. Please contact Housekeeping or Reception to collect your laundry. Please place the laundry bag in your room with the pre-list completed before 09h00 for collection.

LUGGAGE STORAGE
Arrangements can be made with Reception for the temporary storage of luggage. Please contact Reception if you need your luggage to be collected and stored. Please note we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of property.

MAINTENANCE
Great care is taken to ensure your room is in good working order. Should you experience any problems, please contact Reception for assistance.

MINI BAR
Should you require your mini bar to be stocked please contact The Riverside Grill or Reception and they will gladly assist.

NEWSPAPER
Local daily newspapers are available at Reception.

BUSINESS CENTRE
Should you require any printing, this can be done through reception at an additional cost.

POOL AREA AND TOWELS
All guests are welcome to utilize our pool area. Please note that children under 12 years of age are to be accompanied by an Adult at all times. Pool towels are available at Reception. There will be a security deposit of R150.00 per towel. Please do not use bathroom towels in the pool area or at the Beach.

RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS
Please contact the Restaurant on 2905 for a reservation. The Restaurant is open for breakfast from 06h30 to 10h30 every morning. Lunch is served from 12h00 to 15h00 and Dinner is served from 18h00 to 22h00.

ROOM SERVICE
Room service is available from 11h00 until 22h00 daily. A room service menu can be located in the directory of services. A R20.00 tray charge is applicable.

SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES
We regret that we cannot accept responsibility for the loss of valuables left in the Guests rooms. Please ensure that valuables are locked away in the safe provided in your room.

SECURITY
The bedroom doors in the Hotel are self-locking. Please ensure you have your Guest card and that the door is properly locked when leaving your Hotel room.

SMOKING
Please note, ALL rooms EXCEPT GARDEN ROOMS are NON-SMOKING rooms. Should this non-smoking rule be
contravened, a R1000.00 cleaning fine will be billed to your account.

SHOE CLEANING
Please contact Housekeeping. A shoe kit can be provided for you at an additional R10.00.

NOISE LEVELS
Please keep noise levels to a minimum in consideration of other guests. Contravention will result in a fine of R1000.00 billed to your account.

TELEPHONE CALLS
For operator assisted calls dial 9. Please note that calls made will be billed to your room account. This will need to be settled on departure. Contact reception to open the line.

WAKE UP CALLS
Please contact Reception or our Guest Relations Manager to arrange a wakeup call.
